Fun with 'Staches

Fu Manchu, painter, pencil, handlebar, walrus, Dali, Einstein, Tom Selleck...how do all these relate? They are all names of recognizable mustaches. A definite must have, or something of the sort, is a photo booth. Guests always get a kick out of taking silly pictures. And if you’re gonna have a photo booth, you have to have the ‘staches. Here is an easy way to make ‘staches for your guests to sport during their turn at the photo booth.
Step 1: Get inspired! Look up the different types of mustaches you’d like to create. Easiest way to do this was to Google “mustaches”.
Step 2: Gather your supplies. For this super simple project, you’re going to need a sheet of felt, a good pair of sharp scissors, and double-sided tape.

Step 3: Cut away! If you’re pretty good with cutting free-hand, that’s the easiest and fastest way to cut out the ‘staches. If not, you can always cut out a stencil out of corrugated cardboard or chipboard. Here’s a tip: cut out a rectangular piece of felt, the width of the rectangle should match the width of your ‘stache. Fold the rectangle in half, now cut out the left side (or right side) of the mustache. When you open it up, you should have a symmetrical mustache! (same concept as cutting out hearts)

Step 4: Tape and stick! Self-explanatory.
Step 5: Be creative and have fun! ‘Staches can also serve as eyebrows, too.

You can also cut out smaller 'staches for the kids!

Even if you don't have an actual photo booth, you can always improvise and create a photo area where guests can take pictures. Setup a table with all kinds of disguises, hats, boas, glasses, and of course, 'staches!
